Rav4 Rattle

Hey guys! My dad has a 1.8L, 2000 X reg, 3dr, NV Rav4. We have a slight problem that when the car is in motion there is an anoying rattleing noise comeing from what we think is behind the dashboard. The wierd thing is the rattle comes and goes. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if it can be easily fixed? The left back window also slightly rattles. Appart from the rattleing problems lol the car runs fine and is a very nice motor

Would be greatly appreciated if anyone could give me some information back on this rattleing business!

Thanks

Me

Rattle is well known - either the scuttle at base of screen outside or the internal vent duct.

If you look up RAV4WORLD (or is is RAVWORLD ?) - a US site - they have llots of TSB's showing the fixes.

Thanks a lot mate, this rattle is really gettin on our nerves lol, going to have to sort it out soon. I will look up that site! Think it is most likely to be the internal vent duct as it appears to be comeing from behind the vents and dashboard.

Cheers
