Since there are lots of threads here maybe we should have a dedicated thread on performance mods, your figures, gains and dyno results.

yet - people are posting none performance mods - and no-one has posted any proven gains or dyno results.

This thread is an excellent idea - but it is poorly implemented here. :(

A dedicated thread of performance mods, with proven gains listed - as backed by before and after dyno results would be immensely valuable to all Yaris owners.

If you want to set this up properly - I will create a sticky thread here, and we can put it under moderator control to ensure it stays on topic.

so - you guys have proven dyno results for your mods?

I don't think many Yaris owners have any dyno results... :)

personally I probably would never spend money on dynoing my car - costs around 50pounds and is absolutelly useless information... ;)

Well with the g-tech performance meter i will hopefully be getting sometime next month, it measure HP before and after a modification, so I may be able to post up some results. Ok, so I can't guarantee they will be as accurate as a dyno, but will still give a rough ida!

hmmmmm

doesn't that thing plug into a cigarette lighter?

I would not say that it was anywhere near as accurate as a dyno - but, as long as you do before and after measurements it will still be 100% better than the "throttle response is a bit better" sort of comments people have being measuring modifications by.

Let me know when you have figures to post, and we'll get this thing up and running ;)

Yeh it is, but not the one gordypix was saying about, it's the 2004 model. And yes, it will be better than 'it feels faster' etc comments that have been floating about, although i must admit i'm not expecting much from my 1.0l Vitz. Although it does also measure torque, which i'm expecting to see a bit of improvement on...will keep you updated
