high guys, just a quick question, whats involved in the 40k service? is it a major service, will anything be replaced due to millage rather than condition?

Also what sort of price should this cost if everything goes well?

Its a phase 1 , 2000 SR,

Cheers guys!!!

Well, if you've been servicing it right... every year or 10k miles... whichever first, then it'll be an intermediate one, which will be about £120 and is basically just checks and changes.

If it really is the 40k one and will be your 4th service, then it'll be a full service which is likely to be about £220. This checks more and changes more. Also, you may have a belt change at this one if you've done mainly town miles.

It might need a belt change. It depends on what else needs changing. Otherwise it'll be done at the 60k service. Either way, it's going to be the pricier service!

Look in your service book. The bit at the front should list what gets changed/inspected at each service. There aren't belt changes at 40K, but it was one of the more expensive ones I remember...
