:help: AS I'm unable to find a workshop manual for an Avensis, can anyone help with the following.

How do I go about changing the spark plugs.

1. Tools needed

2. Type of spark plug fitted

3. Spark plug gap or is this preset

4. Are platinum tips recommended.

5. Step by step instructions would be appreciated.

Once I have completed this I would then like to move onto changing the timing belt, so any help will be gratefully received.

I would contact your Toyota Dealership.

I had the same problem with the Toyota Carina II - I was able to order a Workshop Manual which gave full details of all service procedures. Initally the dealership claimed there wasn't one available but after contacting Toyota GB and getting the part number for the manual I got one within days.

(it was a bit pricey at £13 but worth it)

Good luck
