Glastonbury

Just watched Coldplay at Glastonbury on BBC2 and BBC3, they did a set which was over an hour long, done songs from their three albums with a few bonus’s.

Worth every penny of my TV Licence fee for this year, they were AWESOME!

No mud to contend with either!

Anyone else see them from here?

Yes I watched and it was good but I would have preffered my DVD of Muse at glastonbury last year ;) Still live 8 will be even better..

The interactive stuff on BBCi is also worth a mention... Pretty difficult not to find a band you like for the whole of glastonbury.

I much prefer watching it infront of my telly than in a muddy field

Agree with the interactive Red Button on the BBC, choose the band you want to see on 2 3 or 4.

People who haven’t go cable or satellite, treat yourself to Freeview!

I love Coldplay, I cant wait to get their new album! Speed of Sound always sends a shiver down my spine when I hear it!

I've been even more impressed with freeview over the last couple of weeks since I found out you could rescan for new channels

Now got E4, E4+1, UKTV History and Men and Motors - think there might be a few more but those were the ones I noticed

Coldplay were re-shown after their set on one of the BBC channels, I kept hoping from channel to channel so couldn’t keep track!

The interactive freeview coverage was really good this year. I enjoyed watching Fatboy Slim on Friday night and Coldplay were very impressive on Saturday.

What happened later on Saturday night though? The "next" feature promised to show the New Order set but they closed the whole thing down at 2am. Did New Order not get televised?
