:help: Do poet's own cars?

Why yes'm they do,

Well some of them, anyway

I know that it's true

Do poet's post messages

Here on the board?

Well one of them, anyway

Does when he's bored.

And what does he drive,

When he's not writing ode's

From July, it's a Prius

He takes on the roads

His other half too,

Is a Toyota fan.

Found in a Yaris,

Whenever she can.

So anyone out there,

Gifted in verse,

Try and respond here,

You cannot be worse!

:help:

That poem is nice,

I'm off for some rice,

Maybe play dice,

I think i've got lice,

And that's not very nice...

That last one was bad

It made me feel sad

But I'm happy my car is

A shiny Yar-is!

i appreciate fine poetry,

and it doesnt have to rhyme,

it can just be a tale

to pass the time,

a poem about a car,

a toyota no less,

talented you are,

a fine ability you possess.

silvasurfer however,

not as good,

he tries to be clever,

but is just misunderstood,

to end this tale

express yourself as you want

and allow your personality to prevail,

just be sure not to flaunt...

You think that was bad,

well, just read this one,

it doesn't rhyme,

and neither it will.

Fidge makes a good point,

My poem was lame,

I enjoyed your witty verse,

I will try it again...

My name is Silvasurfa,

But you can call me Mike,

I post on here randomly,

'Cos that's what i'm like,

Some people don't like me,

I'm misunderstood,

I can always assure you,

My intentions are good,

Life is for living,

I do mess about,

But if I annoy you,

Please point it out,

This thread was a good one,

Fair play to the author,

My brains been engaged,

For an hour and a quarter!

(Obviously didnt take me that long but it rhymes well!)

So far this is all good,

A lot of nice shorts,

So I am looking forward

To reading some more ..

In my case however

I don't talk much about motors,

Because I now drive a peugeot ..

Man I miss my toyota!

Rookey my friend,

You think that is bad,

I've never owned a Toyota,

Now that's truly sad,

I wanted a Supra,

Nearly had one too,

My money dried up,

Which felt pretty poo,

One day i'll be back,

Cruisin' in style,

I'll need some more money,

Which may take a while...

Hello and Welcome!

What a good thread

It really does show

Creativity aint dead :P

I do like to write

the occasional line

a poem or two

when I find the time

stored on my website

some may have seen

some may have read

if they have been

but mores to the point

a Yaris I do drive

love it to bits

keep it clean i strive!

flame gold is her colour

a CDX for her sins

but she is my little Yaz

and much joy she brings

I really must go now

I am sat at work

but having web and MSN

it really is a perk!

This post has inspired me,

It's been quite a laugh,

It's been like a journey,

Down a long winding path...

There was a young woman called Em

Who everyone thought was a gem

Hayfever sneezes

She coughed and she weezied

and covered the TOC guys in pleghm

There's a game that I play,

It's called 'Busta Rhyme',

Most weekends it's played,

Around 'drinking time'.

You each say a sentance,

And hope that it rhymes,

But do not repeat the ending words,

This happens many times.

The penalty you pay,

2 fingers you gulp,

10 minutes of this game,

Your brain turns to pulp.

The pace quickens,

And you run out of words,

Imagine the drunken topics,

They become quite obsurd.
