Whats On Your Desktop?

What does your desktop say about you?

Take a screen dump of your desktop wallpaper - its apparently meant to show the sort of person you are!

This is mine.....

doctor.jpg

The Doctors not always on my desktop. Generally its a photo of Jess & Alfie, which is supposed to mean you spend a lot of time on the computer and you like to have familiar things close to you to bring you back to earth.:lol:

If you have a famous person or movie/TV scene (such as The Doctor!) on your desktop it means you're a dreamer who fantasises about a life beyond your own.

If its a landscape, you desire peace and tranquility and get annoyed very easily.

If your car or your house, then you like to constantly remind yourself of what you have. If its another car/house, this is what you strive for.

If its a blank screen or just a coloured background, there is something missing in your life that you cant put your finger on.

The more icons you have on your screen, the more cluttered your life is - I generally have loads of icons, but this is a brand new PC so I havent had chance to install much on it yet! lol It'll be cluttered soon enough.

Also the majority of people will have a different wallpaper for work than they do for home. If you dont, you find it hard to switch between the two and could be classed as a "workaholic"!

Wow, Dr Who looks like that thesedays? Must get back to Amazon.

Haven't got a capture tool I can locate, but I have a picture of my son of 5 years with a toy robot. Used to have one of 2 year-old daughter, but figured son may get jealous.

Many icons for a cluttered life (doesn't a new PC always look so beautifully pristine), office is at home so wallpaper for work and home is the same -- and with a home office, I certainly have trouble seperating work and play.

In addition to never getting away from work, I'm a bit of a landscape person -- I long so much for tranquility (well, ok, and time for more between the sheets stuff :) ) and the lack of it (tranquility, that is!) sometimes makes me irritable.

The good news is that I'm sure I'll get over it in time!

Press Ctrl, Alt and PrtSc all at once

Open Photoshop, New, OK and Paste (I think)

You'll need to shrink it down a bit so that people like me with little laptops can see it properly

Here's my effort...

One for the lads I think!!!

screen.jpg

Would usually have less icons but as mine is a brand new PC and I haven't had one for a while I seem to be uploading loads of random stuff!!!

Notice; Party Poker, Limewire, Spider Solitare and most importantly TOC...

Let's not forget... Kelly Brook

Kev,

If you used Firefox then you could have tabbed browsing and wouldn't have to have all of those Exploder windows open. Its much nicer to use too

Lots of footie fans I see - I guess that'd fall into the celeb category.....

Defo gotta agree with Firefox - MS Explorer is sooo last season - tabbed browsing is the new black!

I'm intrigued with your photo Rico..... as a photo its a very cluttered and hectic scene.... its not a very calming photo - maybe you are awaiting the hectic life?

Edit: Actually just remembered - you have a baby on the way dont you!

Thanks but I quite like the way it is, I can just skip from 1 to another whenever I feel like. In work if I open 2 or more excel documents it opens them in the same kind of window, if that makes sense, does my head in having to minimise them all before I can open 1
