Ahhh I can help but the paperwork with the detials is in my car... U2U me and I will send you the details.

Be aware that there can be a 18 month waiting list. However, I am currently trying to swing 100 places for the club... No promises here guys.

I visited the factory a few weeks ago.. and I must say it is an eye opener... very interesting.

I organized a visit which me and Steve attended 2 wks ago the normal waiting list for such a tour is around 18 months but you can get lucky sometimes and pick up a cancellation spot

All my contact details I gave to Steve who is trying to organize some sort of club meet

OK... I have written to Toyota and we should have a reply back soon

I have asked for 100 places so we might be able to get a cancellation if possible due to the type of club we are. Tis also involves the Lexus Owners Club.

The only thing is that on these tours there is no guarentee that you will see the avensis... When I went i saw the Corrolla being assembled. Though I can only ask i spose

I will let you all know what dates this tour will be

If you go on a factory tour before middle of january next year, you will be unable to visit Weld shop and Assembly 1 due to 223w trial bodies being in the shop and building work in preparation for the new avensis model. you should be able to watch a video of Weld and Assembly though as they were filming both shops about 4 or 5 weeks ago because of Weld and A1 deing closed off to non TMUK workers / contracters.

I also get to visit every day!.....

I will ask around at work when we go back after shutdown and see if I can speed things along for you.
