Did anyone else notice the major flaw in this weeks Top Gear - with the runner vs JC in a Fiat Panda on the London Marathon route at rush hour on a Tuesday morning?

They claimed it was 2 hours 30 mins from start to finish, but in the middle you see Big Ben and the time was 12.15pm.... not exactly a rush-hour start then! :D :D

Pretty amazing feat from Mr Muir though! :thumbsup:

I would imagine that they just let him run it and then afterwards took him back to key points on the route and filmed him running past them to use in the piece.

There were other flaws as well - JC didn't have to buy his congestion charge during the race did he ? He could have got it any time that day.

Also it is advertised in advance when the bridge will be lifted (or it certainly used to be) so again that 'surprise' was a bit artistic licence IMO.

Who cares about some fitness freak(yeah he was ok) the german totty was better than the midget male presenter (don't mind him really), all I can say is bring her on next series. :P :lol:

nah - its bad in central london all the time.

I actually lived in a hotel by Tower Bridge for about a year - getting across there was a nightmare basically in daylight. It could take over an hour to get 12 miles from the hotel to the M1, leaving at about 7:00 pm on a Friday.

he could have paid in advance, or just paid later on.

NEVER pay by machine. Use a shop, phone up, use the 'net. The machines are deliberately rigged to be useless so you get stug for late fines :ffs: :censor:

Sabien is awesome. I think Hammond was sicker in the transit than he was in the speedboat last week :D

And the Sagarris looks brilliant. Love TVR's. :wub:

At this point I will add that I have been chased by, over taken, and failed to keep up with that red race spec Viper GTS.. :lol: its funny seeing cars you recognise, on a track you have driven and recognised!!! I wonder what she could do with my supra :wub:

I think the Sagaris is FUGLY. There are quite a few in henley, to me they look like a tuscan thats shrunk in the wash, attacked by the max muppet brigade!!!

Thought the tranny was classic, to see a standard diesel tranny go around the ring in that time and so close to that of clarkson's had me in fits (actually found myself cheering her on), wished she had of beaten his tmie but under 10secs difference for the change in vehicles wins hands down in any books :D

Well I've been over taken by Sabine .. I was flat out round a corner and she drifted (yes drifted) an M5 with 3 passengers round the inside of me ..

She's not *that* nice .. but chicks who can drive faster than me get my vote :D
