Will It Arrive

Hopefully the new engine for the beast will arrive today....unfortunatly cant fit it till at least two weeks time as have to go away next week to Kings lynne...that'll be fun :P

i managed to get hold a recon engine from TCB with all the bits attached..bonus...

any one any idea how long a complete engine change should take me....bearing in mind i have unlimited use of a Rolls Royce servicing and matainance bay at a mate garage (bless him) :group-cuddles:

i was banking on about three days from start to finish (three whole days that is 0800 till about 1800).

Hmm, that depends on what the new engine is like? it took me around 3 hours to strip the bay and remove the head, starter motor/ block etc. i guess if another where to drop right in it would take around the same. Thats if nothing goes wrong. YEAH RIGHT.

You havnt told me about a new engine.... last i herd it was a camshaft bucket or lifter pad.........

yeah sorry scot u oviously missed my last post entitled she's died, dead and is no more or something like that.......to cut a long story short mate by sorting the top half of the engine the bottom couldn't handle it and blow all the pistons, crank and one or two other bits so thought sod it cant be bothered and bought an new engine........cant fit it this week coming cus have to go to kings lynne but will be fitting it week after then to pitstop for a tune in time for JAE
