Who Was It Who Replaced The Horn On Their Yaris?

could you tell me where u got the replacement horn from and how difficult it was to replace the thing

ive replaced mine! got one of a toyota carine, from scrap yard! just a direct swap, same connectors!!

The standard denso horn (you can see it front right behind the grill) has one power lead running to it and uses its own bracket as an earth.

Up to you - I used an aftermarket one the relocated it (the new one is a lot bigger) - all I did was extend the power lead to the appropriate point.

mine's a twin set set off my Nissan Maxima. just Y spliced the positve lead. if u use a heavier duty horn, you may need a relay to handle the extra amps needed

I change mine, i got a sample from work for a Natualius Air horn. Dead easy to fit, just needed a relay for the current draw.

ive mounted a pot noodle horn on the wind of my car.

i used the twin tones off a rover 200 :ph34r: did the job marvellous with a bit of wire splicing
