Air Con Fault

Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone knows why my air con isnt working.

I have checked all fuses in all 3 locations (both footwell's & under engine fuses) Checked all relays for continuity and they are all working fine, Checked the continuity across the switch, works fine. All the cables under the bonnet are connected. I have checked absolutly everything.

It happened about a month ago, i was driving home, went to put the air con on and nothing. Has been the same ever since, All the other fans work, just i get no air conditioning. As most ppl with a corolla E10 will know, the switch has a little light built in. but that does not illuminate at all. I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas because it has me well and truly stumped!

Cheers ppl!

sounds like it needs re-gassing. air con refrigerant escapes naturaly over time and as your car is 10yrs old its a firm bet.

look in the yellow pages for a locl regassing company usaly costs about £30 but get em to pressure test it first to make sure there are no holes in the condenser
