I seen Fifth gear Last night and was wondering,

Is the 240bhp engine in the lotus they tested from the new CTS?

no.

The newer elise's use the Toyota 1.8VVti that can be found in the Corrola...

But the 240R has had some Lotus tweaking, not to mention supercharging..

The new CTS is a 225bhp engine, and will have very different characteristics to the Exige...
