hiya, i'm in the middle of doing up my gt as a track day car, also to be used on public roads alot. i've cut out all the rust and welded in new metal. just got to replace my brake lines and fule lines, which i'm trying to work out this week or next. the main thing i'm wondering is, roll cage. I have no carpets, back seats door cards ect, so as i'm going to be storming around race tracks with about 200bhp would like a cage. any one know the best ways to go about it? would be up for doing it my self but not sure what tube to use or where to get it? any ideas people?

thanks

rob

hi, sorry i can't really help with the cage either (although i'd imagine the best thing to do would be to contact a fabrication firm that makes them and ask their advice).

which cams did you go for? only i'm thinking of uprating mine, and i was just wondering how pleased, or otherwise you were with the results

HKS 272 cams off of fensport, very happy. ive done all this work on the car in one go, so dont know what bits have done what so much if you get what i mean, plus i have only driven the car a few times as is still not finished. but i can tell its going to be very fast. once its all done i will get it set up on a rolling road and post the results, plus will be up the pod at some point to get some runs in. hoping to make it win the class it will be in
