Has anybody changed there pads for something other than Toyota's own???

Dont know what pads come on the other e12's but I replaced the pads on my CTS, which i thought had great brakes, to some generic ones, only to find there pretty rubbish by comparison. The pads on the car had been there since new, and were Pagid pads, which are excellent.
