Took my Yaris in today because of 2 problems I had reported under warranty.

The first occured when taking my usual route into town 2 saturdays ago, and went over a bump in the road.

Next thing I know, my 3rd brake light (in the top of the rear window), was hanging down by it's wiriing loom. I pulled over, and lodged it back in place, and it's been sat at an angle for the last 2 weeks.

I got home, and phoned Inchcape Toyota that I wanted it repaired under warranty. Not a problem, they said, and booked me in (This morning).

In the 2 weeks between that saturday and today, I also spotted one of the heat wires on the rear windscreen didn't seem to be working, leaving a rather annoying line of "mist" in the rear window even with the de-mister turned on.

I let them now, and they said they'd test it.

I took it down this morning, and dropped it off. Silly me though, hadn't booked a courtesy car.

This became a problem when he asked if it was alright to pick my motor up at 4pm. That's fine I said, as long as you've got a courtesy car. "Ah...." he said.

All the cars were out already, so he went in and checked with the mechanic, who made the job next on his list.

A little under an hour later, the 3rd break light was fixed, and they will be calling me back Monday to arrange a time to replace my rear windscreen.

What could've turned out to be a long day in Kidlington, turned out to be a short wait in Inchcape, with a wander around looking at shiny cars.

Top Job Inchcape Toyota.

Lol.

We could do, but if there's more than 5 of us, we'll struggle to park on a saturday.

It wasn't the most thought-out layout of a motorpark I've seen... :D

Indeed. It was greatly appreciated to ahve the job done straight away.

Would've been a long wait otherwise... :D

That's impressive, the Toyota dealership I use has a tiny parking area so everyone parks on the road and has a decent walk down to it instead

Sounds like Inchcape. It's on a motorpark, and there's only about 10 parking spaces inside, so most folks park on the road outside. It's double yellows on the opposite side, but it's still makes it entertaining when trying to drive down the road...
