Advice For Winter Thread

seeing as a few questions have been asked about preparing cars and driving tips for winter, mite as well put it all in one thread so its easy to find...

theres an advice thread on here, search for it. my tip is if you dont know how to drive in winter....dont :) much safer

A Coolant flush, new thermostat, oil change, and new filter... once over underneath the car make sure everything is tight..

When I get a chance I intend to jet wash the entire underneath of the car, then waxoyl it all.

Also rememebr folks when you are cleaning your cars, get all the gunky mud out from under the wheel arches (if you don't already do so!) once they start salting the road its becones salty gunky stuff, that stays damp for ages... you get the idea ;)

I did have a set of winter tyres.... but I'm not a fan of the top speed rating on them :D
