Bodywork Dent Pullers - Do They Work ?

Hi all,

I have a couple of minor dents in the bodywork of my Celica - mainly due to careless drivers in car parks (I wish I caught them doing it.....). :censor:

I am aware that local garages & dealerships charge a fortune for what is often very little effort. I recently had a dent pulled for £50 at my Toyota Dealership (caused & paid for by them while in for some work) which a local backstreet garage claimed would cost £125 as "it would need to be filled & painted" which clearly wasnt the case as it is now faultless !

Anyway, I was considering the purchase of a dent pulling device similar to the one below.

Does anyone have experience of using these? I have one dent that is on the top of the front wing so I presume these suction cup devices will not work on that curved area - maybe someone knows where to source a smaller device, or even a set of devices ? Or maybe someone would like to loan me their product for a day to test it ??!!

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers.
