Cutting Out At Low Rpms

I'm having problems with my 93 corolla. at low rpms it is idling real rough and eventually dieing out. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have recently changed spark plugs, fuel filter, and rotors all to no avail. Also, I was looking for how to access the diagnostics panel to read codes and if there is a list of codes somewhere. Any info would be appreciated.

Does it only happen when your engine is cold?

Heres a link for a fault code reader, it'll have a list of codes in it and it should tell u where the diagnostics panel is.

No, actually it starts acting up worse the warmer the engine gets.

Does the ECU light come on?

It could possibly be one of your sensors playing up.

I noticed u said u had the rotor and spark plugs changed. If you haven't done already u might wanna get the distributor cap and spark plug leads changed aswell, they cause all sorts of mysterious problems ;)

I had exctly same problem on my gti as the engine got warm it wasnt idling properly and was reaching about 0500RPM and cutting out, but that was as i installed an induction kit, do you have an induction kit? but i think its just a tuning thing, what id do is try and adjust the air intake nut and put your idle RPM 1-2points higher, mines cus out on motorway aswell many times, very DANGEROUS problem you got

Oh yeah what is your idling point at a good time?

Those codes worked great. I got two codes. I got a 24-Intake Air Temperature Sensor Signal and a 31-Air Flow Meter Signal(Vacuum Sensor signal).

This thing is still having the problems. I have changed the air intake temperature sensor, MAP sensor and disconnected other sensors to see if I am getting error codes from them. All codes have been cleared and am not getting any new error codes. But it still cuts out and runs very rough after engine gets warm. It is getting worse too as time goes on. I almost didn't make it home last night. It just didn't want o run at all last night pulling into the driveway. The timing belt was changed out about 6 months and 4000 miles ago. Could it poossibly be that? But it idles fine when it's first started and for several minutes until it gets warmed up. It also only does this cutting out at lower RPM's. I am completely lost on what next. Could it be fuel pump, if it's not cutting out at higher RPM's???? It seems like it would be cutting out all the time if that was the case.?!

Thanks,

Kevin :angry::wacko::unsure:
