Thats the one mate, you need the part off Toyota first so you can fit that part though! :thumbsup:

seems to me that the adaptor plate and the fascia surround are one and the same. can someone explain this?

is the adaptor plate like a socket or something and the surround placed around it, completely lost. :(

The bit from Toyota is the very outside part (the light grey surround) and the other bit is the black inside part that makes it single din.

When you remove the OE headunit the entire bottom of the dash is missing

You replace it with this

fascia.jpg

The hole in the fascia is too big for a normal HU so you need the black bit to make it fit

Ok i get you now thanks alot guys! :D

One last thing though, would have thought I could use the facsia surround already in the car...

You cannot use it as it is all built as one unit!
