Electricity Strangness Today..

ok..

so i was fitting a really nice DIY undercar kit.. (ill post some details in a minute)...

ive put two rods front and back...

i ran the wires back to the controller BUT didnt connected it yet..

i needed to back up the car abit..

got in the car .. turned the key and... no go..

there was juice.. the starter was running.. but .. its like no fuel got to the engine..

so i tried to switch back horns (thought that was the problem - maybe) .. no go..

i disconnected the car Battery .. both + and - left for 10 minutes and came back.. nothing..

checked 2 fuse boxes.. no fuses were burnt..

ill remind u again.. i didnt connect anything yet... just ran the wires across the car..

i disconnected the back rod (the wire was going under the back seat and under the spare wheel.. nothing

when i took the front rod wire out ..the car started!

just one thing.. i ran the wire with all the other wires going in the car, just taped them together .. no electrical contact.. just two wires taped together..

from the bottom inner bumper, to the rubber thingie which goes into the car..

ok.. so now u say.. there was something wrong with the wiring..

reminder:i didnt connect it to a power source yet..

and now my big question..

could it be.. that there are some magnetic properties to the wire? maybe something that made the immobilizer think something is wrong?

really bugs me..

oh.. by the way.. ive reconnected the whole thing UNDER the car just for test.. it works both the led kit and the engine..

could it be when u tape two wires together its doing something? (again no electrical contact-just running them together)

its really odd...
