do a search, it's been asked loads of times

there's the double din surround you get from toyota, and then there's the single inner with cash tray underneath you can get from Halfords.

I've found a good thread that chappers did fitting take 2. what wires do you need? is it going to mess up the computer at all?

Wires?

To plug the HU in, you just need an ISO adapter.

More info on which one you need in that thread from Chappers. ;)

The computer on the dsh doesn't get messed up - you just lose use of the CD/ tape button, etc.

Quality. How much does it cost to get it all fitted??? or can you do it yourself? im guessing then that the ISO lead and double din unit is all accesable from Hal(Frauds)

Indeed they are, if they're in stock.

I ordered the Din adapter online, as it was cheaper than Halfrauds.

You can self-install. That's what most of us have done.

There's a good couple of write-ups in the How to section.

Dead easy job.

I left mine out - not a smoker, so don't need it.

But yes, it is supposed to be a bit of a bugger to remove...

yeh it's a ***** to remove. Go to halfords and buy a new one. or have a look on ebay. there's normally 1 for slae on theer

Do you reacon its worth quickly popping it down to my Local MR T garage and seeing if they can remove it. My mate works down there in parts so he might know what the situation is with it, If he cant ill enquire about how much it costs to order a new one in from them. Prob be well expensive.

Its cheaper at Halfords or egay and its not that expensive unless you go to Mr.T

You have to remove the black plastic casing on the inside just pulls off

Then if you look inside from the front you'll see a small plastic square you have to push that in whilst pushing it from behind this will remove the inner metal part

Then you'r left with the main cassing which hase two small clips right at the base just push these in and it pops out

Then just put it back in reverse order

Hope that helps!
