Opinions On Road Angel 2 Wanted Please.

Hi,

I have been thinking about getting a Road Angel 2. Does anyone one here have one and what do you think of it?

I have one - nice piece of kit.

does exactly what it says on the tin.

do yourself a favour, and run a cable down the back of the console and attach it to a permanent live feed, its much neater without the wire hanging down to the cigarette lighter.

I used to have, I've just upgraded to the Road Angel Navigator.

The upgrade offer was £299 instead of £599 and I got to keep the RA2 because of it having over 2 years upgrades on it, just sold it for £280 so the Navigator cost me £19

The RA2 was a good bit of kit though, I got used to using that instead of the speedo

Only problem I've had is that Tiff Needel does the warnings a bird talks the directions and they fall out sometimes

tbh, I don't really know as I've not owned one before it seems ok to me.

What sort of problems were they having?

Trouble is they haven't really explained just said stay clear & get the TomTom 700...

Not a great deal of info then to write a product off.

They seem really busy in sales shifting the units so they can't be that bad ;)

Could I get the Tom Tom for £19? :D
