Class Les!

I dont understand the spec Rob - but it looks like a hell of a machine...

When you finally put it together, and flicked the switch and saw it was working, did you by chance scream...

"It's alive.... IT'S ALIIIIIIIIIVE" :lol::lol:

I dont care what all the techno bits do but there are blue flashy lights and a display that you can change the colour of - so ive made him have it pink :D :P lol

Thats brillant!

You can OC your grpahics card, would be well worth doing as you have that hooked up to the water cooling ;)

and get raptor hard drives, trust me you will see the difference!

its quite a step when you hit the go button for the first time :!Removed!:

will it? wont it?

worse bit was the water chiller i was scared id made a dodgy connection and would end up with fluid blasting everywhere :o but filled it first, no leaks....

hit go! and everything fired up fine! :D but the water chiller needed bleeding of air and guess where the bubble just has to make a direct bee line for and gets stuck!

the CPU water block! which promptly rockets to 70odd degrees then shuts down!

so spent 30 mins squeezing the pipes to 'pump' all the air out!

Rach - cost about 300quid in total with parts taken from my old PC aswell

Nice bit of kit there.

Hope it doesn't do a HAL 9000 when you tell it to do something...

"I'm sorry, Rob, I'm afraid I can't do that." :P

very nice B)

its at this point, i realise i am very behind on the power PC stakes, i'm stuck with SMP being the 'daddy', and here we are with water cooled systems... oh well, ill just wait for the first diamond CPU for quantum processing.

Where do you want to start ?

I built my first one from scratch then just kept updating different parts over time until I got what I have now.....

Asus P4C800E-deluxe mainboard

P4 3.0Ghz Prescot cpu

Radeon 9700Pro graphics card

1Gb Corsair Ram

2 Seagate sata harddrives

1 Samsung harddrive

etc... etc...

I've had the above for nearly a year..... can't be bothered to update it again because it's plenty fast enough for what I need it to do....
