Stress Testing A Pc

I know a lot of us are in IT so i was wondering what program to use to stress test a PC?

I need to beable to test everything so i know if its ok.

This is one of the company apps we use... if it's just for graphic benchmarking try '3Dmark' On that site

* Windows® 98/SE/ME/2000/XP

* DirectX® 9.0c or later

It's a great test to do... it actually builds projects in real time i.e it makes and converts a movie, builds a website, and looks at web pages and email..

but yeah it's a huge installl.. but if you dont go for it it's still worth trying 3D mark (it's basically the 3d graphic card benchmark app now)

Does the install use 1Gb, or does it use the vast majority of it for read / write speed testing of the disk, and any data left is removed with the program? Presumably you won't leave the software on once you've done...?

Just bought TuffTest pro - now all i've got to do is figure out how to install it on my pendrive :unsure:

Will only allow me to select drives A: or B:

prime number test thingy....

good for giving the CPU a good kicking and seeing how stable it is when overclocked etc....
