E-mail Notification

Can anyone tell me how I stop getting e-mails informing me of new postings on this website. I have followed the instructions given, but it doesn't seem to be working. Please help, as every time i open my e-mails I get a load of mail from the toyota owners club members. All i want is to just log in and see what's new when I go onto this website as opposed to e-mail notification.

hi, if you go to my controls at the top the select email settings on the right it will load a control boards. select from the drop down menu no email notification

and don't "subscribe" to any topics you don't want e-mailed about either.. i learned this the hard way too

I have tried this but still seem to get notifications via e-mail on everything that people have posted on the website. Does the fact that I have paid for subscriptions make any difference?

it's nothing to do with paid subscriptions. It's a setting somewhere in your personal settings.

If you post a topic and want to know when it's replied to, this can be selected on a topic by topic basis. If you're getting them all the time then it's a global setting in your controls

Go into 'My Controls' ( top right )

Then down the page on the left hand side near the bottom there's a link to Email settings. You can turn it all off in there.
