for those who are not aware, you can book yourself into your local toyota to get a free winter check on ur beloved, even if you have had no invite to have one done. takes about 30mins, im booked in on friday. they gave me the option of collecting my car from where i work but i declined (dont want them ragging my car), good service though

I dont trust them, i bet its just to see if there is anything they can possibly convince you that needs doing.

For example I bet if your radiator level is 'just' below full they will top it up and then charge you for it without even asking you.

You never really get anything for free

Yeah thats what i do too  I remember taking my Supra in for a Free Vehicle Safety Check just before i took it to the Nurburgring last year.

Mechanic came back and said that my Camber was off and he'll only be a sec while he goes and gets a mechanic to come and adjust it.

I said "And how much will that cost?"

He Goes "Err...well...depends on....."

I said "No thankyou :D "

:P
