Fitting new suspension to my car this weekend went for some from Fensport as wanted fully adjustable most kits weren’t. Got adjustable Konis front and rear and 35mm lower springs.

Any body got any advice for what to look out for or might be might tricky?

its very simple, but whilst you have all the back in bits give everything underneath (bodywork) a good clean and waxoyle before you fit the new strutt.

the drop links on the rear anti-roll bar to the strut can be a b***** to get off in one piece, had to grind them off and buy new ones, but at 27 quid for 2 this aint a big expense, plus new bits r always good.....

Thanks for the advice, i didin't realy think about cleaning the back area white it was off, i was just going to take off and put new on, will give good once over. Hopfully won't be grinding too much off woule like to car running again by Monday, but you know how these things tend to go.

you ill need a good vice and a good pair of grips too as the Koni's are inserts for the stock strut cases.fronts are a PITA as the screw on top is usaly well rusted in.

also check that you bhave std shocks on before you cut anything as the konis wont fit in some afrtermarket struts.

might also be worth getting some new bump stops.

oh yeah dont set he shock to firm if you like your fillings
