Just thought i would pop on and say the yaris has to be one of the fun cars to drive. Had one for a day as a loan car from toyota while my corolla was having the MOT, great to drive, no trouble cornering, although the lack of power was a bit disappointing but it was only a dinky engine, must hae been a 1 litre i guess but only 400miles on the clock :) anyways just thought i would share my experience :thumbsup:

Yeah the 1.0 is nippy enough but lacking a tad.... the 1.3 I find is perfectly adequate :thumbsup:

Glad you liked the car. I haven't had much experience with a more powerful engine but I've always found there to be plenty of power with the 1.0 providing you're not afraid to give it the necessary revs & the good thing about the Yaris is that it's happy for you to do that.
