Aaahh yes...

Mr Woods is a legend in MKI circles. He's done all sorts to his MKI's and is at the forefront for all MK1.5 conversions. Also heavily involved with TwoBrutal - a forum dedicated to big powered MKI's.

Nutty he is too B) having nearly completed his soft-top conversion on his current V6 engined MKI.

Other than that he has supplied us with many useful bits like his manual choke conversion. Probably no one alive who know more about MKI's than him.

I don't see why it will not work!!! The V8 has a fairly short block....

I still thinka rotary powered Mk1 would be ace!

Im trying to figure out how its gonna be mounted in the car an what gearbox he will use :blink:

He mentions that the G'box is a 3s-gte one (I think) and that he's getting custom plates made up to match and mount.

i know theres a guy in the states that has put a huge cadilac V8 in a MK1 last time i checked it wasnt far off finished

I saw a video once of a Rev 2 3S-GTE in an AW11, and yeah it was quick :laughing:
