Currently in my locality Tesco Momentum is 5 pence per litre more than standard Tesco unleaded, and is around the same price as BP/Shell standard unleaded. Momentum also is advertised as having the best additive package of Tesco fuels.

Although I usually fill up with BP or Shell, if I do fill up at Tesco, I use Momentum as there is no financial penalty compared to my usual fuel, and the additive package is better than Tesco's standard unleaded.

I do tend to use premium if going on holiday and similar (eg. Skye - around a 520 mile each way).
