It turns out they're off to Italy for the rugby, and figured why just dress up for the match when you die of hypothermia before you even get there

Just got up (working nights), came downstairs to be confronted with a giant cuddly giraffe standing in the hallway!! The thing is huge!

Apparently a present for my wifes niece. Certainly woke me up although at first i walked past it and said " morning big cuddly giraffe" as if it were an everyday occurence. Weird.

watch somebody walk upto the roller door on my office... look and realise its a foot lower than their head height... then still proceed to walk blunt force into the edge of it

Most surreal thing I saw yesterday was an incompetent staff member handing me his notice (with imediate effect), no job to go to (he's waiting on a letter of employment from his future employers) and we were going to sack him in the afternoon anyway

Haha we have a 3 legged cat on our street! I was gonna say thats the most surreal thing i've seen today, washing my car and watched this 3 legged cat go full pelt down the middle of the road and disappear into a bush! Seems having one less leg has streamlined him a bit!!

For me...

Going to the airport at 05:30hrs yesterday morning, to have to stop on a usually very busy A Road to let atleast 25 ducks in single file cross the road.

There was a lorry waiting on the other side and the driver was transfixed on these ducks; like I was.

So we gave each other a bemused grin and then carried on with our journeys.
