Has anyone else been watching this series on BBC2 (after the Apprentice)

Its classic - a fly-on-the-wall docu-comedy about U-Fit, the third largest window manufacturer in Coventry.... and its the funniest thing on TV, sorta like you can't believe its real but it actually is and there are people like this is the world who run companies.... John Armstrong is either trying his best to be David Brent, or is just a total eejit, Ann Armstrong seems to have her head screwed on, but unfortunately tends to listen to her husband too much...

Anyway, if you havent seen it, you should, its hilarious!

And for those who have (and havent!) seen it yet, you've got to check out the official Armstrongs website - be warned though - the forum and blogs are hilarious but not exactly work safe!

My Dad knows these people and say they're some of the worst people to do business with he's ever encountered in his 15+ years in the window industry....

And our patio doors came from U-Fit! Thats my new claim to fame!

Haven't actually seen it yet, but Coventry's getting on the map

I think somebodies bringing a film out about Lady Godiva, plus David Brent mentioned Coventry in one of his poems in the bonus features of the office DVD

Wasn't nice though

Oh well I might give it 5 minutes to see if it impresses me ...... might see some of my school mates working there

I'm surprised you have noticed the "new reality TV stars from Coventry" coming to the opening of the new Coventry envelope or something Dave...

Just had the most excellent idea for a TOC meet - all us Midlands lot going to U-Fit! It'll be interesting and different, if nothing else!

Haven't been watching the Apprentice or this, but after all that I hear about them I may have to tune in at some point

Its well worth a watch.... if only for a good laugh!

See, the Apprentice is supposed to show the creme de la creme of business men and women, fighting it out to work for Amstrad.... and the Armstrongs shows the scum de la scum of Coventry sales persons, fighting it out to be the first to leave U-Fit
