Hi have bought a 2000 Model Yaris 1.3 SR with 58,000 miles on clock and after doing 1500 miles it has developed a intermittent squeak from rt rear .

Have had it checked out at National Tyres and they can see nothing wrong .

Has anyone else come across this ?

Thanks Niel

Maybe a wheel bearing, not slating your national tyres but i tend to find quik fits and all that don't know a spanner from a screw driver and i would get it checked by an experienced mechanic.

Juts my opinion.

Welcome to the club :)

I'd go for a rear wheel bearing.

Get a second opinion from another garage just to be certain though.

Mine was a dry suspension bush, which was greased back up under warranty, although it's still squeaking.

See my rattle and squeaks post. ;)

The squeak only happens when mobile not at a standstill but not all the time and doesnt matter whether turning left or right .

Am new to driving a car have driven motorbikes for 20 years and the Yaris is my first car so no nothing about them mechanically lol
