hey mates, as i told you last week, my car has been robbed, so this week we told a friend of us to put an alarm on our yaris, unfortunately.... my dad told him I had 2 remote control keys... we just have 1, so the guy bought an alarm to work specifically with remote control keys, that means... i just got one remote, and if i loose that key, the alarm will be useless.... now i'm searching to copy the key, avoinding Mr.T... that asks about 150€ for it...

now... do you guys know where can I get the imobiliser code?? is it that number in the little plate with the spare key?? or do I have to get it from Mr.T... (to get the code from our Golf, VW had to send the owner's ID Card and ownership certificate copies to germany...)

It is a guarded secret! Those who know it tend to make a meal of it. I certainly don't have the answer. Maybe you'll strike lucky if you search the web using, say, "programming key fob". A quick survey found that different car makers had different schemes. You need to dig deep though. Hope someone will come along soon to give you a straight answer.
