Folding Rear Seats Up

Got a 2001 CDX and having issues folding the rear seats up. Can slid seats forward, fold them down but cannot then use the lever at the back of the seat to lift them over. Anyone with similar problems / solution?

I know that mine (when I had them) had to be all the way forward before the'd tilt - try running it back and forward then full forward.

The carpet can get caught and stops it going forward if the poppers have come loose..

Just want to add that you have to squeeze the handle up before using it to lift up the seats ...... hope that helps!

to flip it up it has to be as slid forward as possible
