Ee101- Radiator Fan

I own an EE 101 car(1992). I've a problem with it. It's Radiator cooling fan switches on only if I Switched ON the AC. otherwise it remains off, causing engine overheating (even up to the maximum level) . Temperature gauge(meter) is working. can anyone help?

sounds like the temp switch in the engine that's faulty as this should run the fan when the temperature rises to about 85 degrees. when you put the AC on the fan has to run to cool the gas in the AC circuit to keep you cool in the car. locate the temperature switch and connect the wires together if the fan starts change the switch.
