Extended Warranty

Hi all,

Just wanna see how many of you have purchased the extended warranty after the original 3 years that came with the car, and if so has it been a good investment?

I know that the Rolla is as reliable as anything, but has anyone been glad that they have taken this option out?

Also, if you have taken it out and have claimed, what did you claim for and did the dealers put up any fights on your claims?

Any input would be appreicated.

I did, started in January. I'm beginning to think it probably wasn't worth it as the car still drives exactly as it has done for the last three years :D

When I got the warranty I wondered if I might be selling the car this year. You can transfer the warranty over to the new owner for 20 notes or so, so might add a little to the resale value.

im not bothering due to it doesnt cover alot of things inc gearbox ( which is known to go ) and clutch ( another fault lol) as most things that will now go wrong will be down to wear and tear :( dam it lol still got another 6 months left tho as i got a lil extentionsion when i brought the car !

When you say the gear box and clutch is "known to go", what exactly do you mean?

Am i to expect a broken gearbox sometimes soon? 03 reg 31k miles!

im on 35 and ok so far but the t-sport we test drove clutch and gear box were both knackered ! read anyones posts , the 2 things they warn you about the cts is the gear box and clutch lol
