Last year my toyota corolla's engine management light come on and the car started to seriously misfire. I took it to my main dealer and was told that it was the coil in cylinder number 2 which had failed. (repair cost £225 !)

I eventually had it repaired but my car was in the main dealers garage for 13 weeks awaiting the part to be sent from Japan ! (unbelieveable situation)

Just wondered if anyone else has had this coil failure occur, or was I just unlucky ?
