Installing Speakers/stereo

Hi

Just bought my Yaris off my brother, but I think the Stereo system is a bit naff. I have Speakers from my old car, which I want to install at the rear. Is this easy? I'm no good at this sort of thing, but my brother is and just wanted advise before letting him rip half the car out to find that it can only be done by a professional.

Also I want to by a decent stereo, but as you all know the current stereo seems to be permantently fixed and I really don't want to find out the hard way if it is/isn't! Plus it give's all that info such as fuel economy etc so I don't want to be playing about with that either.

Any advise would be much appreciated and thanks for any in advance.

this will help, info on what parts are needed, you can either fit a new HU under the old one, or replace the whole thing.

you can keep the fuel computer at the top, nothing affects that as it's wired seprately
