Cd Player- Yaris

I need to get a CD player for my Yaris and have been quoted over £300 by my local dealer as it needs to be Toyota CD system- that was for the basic package! Anyone can help please!?

eBay mate, loads on there,or get a aftermarket HU and fit it using the guide on this forum.

they usually go for between £50 and £150 on eBay

if you just want a basic cd player the JVC units are pretty good for about £80 - £90.

It works out about the same price for either the H.U. off eBay, or an aftermarket one and the surround and the double din unit.

A lot of people have been told that & it simply isn't true. If you're after a CD player & ask Toyota, they're always going to recommend you get 1 from Toyota, but it doesn't HAVE to be a Toyota system, there are plenty of aftermarket set-ups available that are simple to install if you know what you're doing (or for some1 else to install if you're like me), it just depends if you want to keep the whole Toyota feel, if that makes sense.

If you want to get a Toyota CD player like what they've offered you, as mentioned, they're quite often on eBay for a lot cheaper than Toyota offer them for.
