Induction Kit - Noticeable Power?

Hi,

I'm new to modding cars etc, as I just started drving. Got a 1.0l Yaris GS, was wondering would a Pipercross Inudction kit have any noticeable effect on acceleration and general performance of car. Priced at £88-00, at pipercross.co.uk, link below.

Yep, as above! Will make your engine bay a bit more respectable as well!

It will look nice but only add about 1 bhp to your output (about the same as if you put a clean filter in, or serviced the car)

Probably no performance at all, as the pipercross filter goes in the worst possible place, and the standard airbox isn't even removed.

Don't forget it's a wet filter so there's a chance it will bugger your MAF sensor.

save your money and get the greddy airinx from envy performance, a much better kit for about £150, and you'll be much more pleased with it than the pipercross.
