Yes!

You can shop around for servicing and get a cheaper price elsewhere, or barter with them for a better price.... I wouldn't pay that much for a Yaris to be serviced - no way jose!

Thats far to much imo, tell them to leave the brake fluid alone, doesnt need changing

told them to not bother with brake fluid, but the bloke stands by the fact it is £240 for the service.

that was rayleigh.

They also called up and wanted £120 for 2 new tyres as mine were 1mm under the legal limit....so the total would have been £400 to service the car lol madness.

in the end came to £220. Not happy....but least it is done lesson learnt

I just paid (literally an hr4 ago) £290 pound for full service and mot including:

Front brake pads.

Drivers wiper blade.

Free valet.

i thought this was terrible but having read what has been said above it seems fair. Still dosent help with the insurance due this month. (I saved 500 quid and got it at £760 from Admiral who own the company who previously quoted me (elephant))

The brake fluid change is an evil trick - no need for it until 40k. It even says that in your Yaris manual!!!

Also, if are willing, you could do the brake fluid change urself. Its not hard, i;ve done it on my old car before.

Brake fluid starts to go after 2/3 years.

As for pads and wipers, either DIY or take it to ATS / National or similar :)
