Hey guys , have had my yaris lowered for about a month now ! No real scrubbing so far unless I have a fatty in the back !! hehe .

But in the last week , I have noticed in scrubs in the back left , and this appears to be caused by the fuel pipe !!! , not really a major problem just keep the peeps out the back unless neccessary + only really scrubs when goin fast !!

But it is also starting to scrub when goin over bumpy roads , not pot-hole ridden , but roads which go up and down alot ! can someone explain why ! ?? :help:

I managed to resolve alot of scrubbage tho , through putting my hand underneath the arch and believe it or not scooping about four to five handfulls of muck :o , that had been compacted , that was straight after i had power washed it , the water obviously didnt reach !! :o

Sorry for the long message , but every one in my family and my girlfriend is fed up of me talking about the yaris so I though i would tell all u guys !! :D

it's more than likely settled a bit more than when first lowered, that's why your getting a bit of scrubbing

what size wheels and tyres do you have and how much has your car been lowered by

17's usually cause problems

what offset are they, 42?

that will be ur problem then, 17s even on a 30 mm drop are a nightmare

i cant see how it can be scrubbing on the arch on 17's unless the wheels or tyres are too wide im running 19x7 wheels on 215/35/19 tyres on 45ml drop and have no problems at all. try changing the tyres for a lower profile.

I have same setup, sounds exactly the same with it only rubbing going up and down hills etc. The rubbings not as bad as everyone says :P (im using a 38 offset by the way!)

I've found the rubbing is much less (gone even?) when you take the little black plastic arch linings out of the rear
