I was browsing though eBay sifting through the crap in the Yaris Section (as you do)

I found this picture of a 1.3L engine bay.

It’s like another bit of plastic covering the left bit of the block.

I’ve not got in on my 1L, is it normal not to have one or is it just a 1.3L engine thing?

Its not the same as my 1.3 SR engine bay. mine was jap, maybe the frence ones are different, other than that i have not got a clue

Mine's a 1999 Yaris S 1L Jap

It was a UK model, on eBay.co.uk

I guess the title of the auction helps ;)

Plus the sticker on the back of the car in the picture:

Not many people are going to debadge their car for a T-Spirit :rolleyes:

no no I know that the car on eBay was a T-Spirit, I just asking if it was just a T-Spirit thing.

I think we have the answer now, it's a Phase 2 thing, so phase 2 engines has an extra bit of plastic, nice!

I thought that actually, you can see all the front bumper is caved in.... should have clicked on the link really shouldnt I.... :lol::lol:

That back bumper in the picture doesn't look like it's on right either

It's only the 1.3l which has that bit of plastic on there, the 1l just has the standard airbox without this from when I used to have a phase2 Yaris
