Wow! Thats a good run.... I wonder if anyone on here can match that or do better (come on D-4D'ers, have a go!)

On a slightly sadder note, anyone notice the price of fuel in that report - 74p per litre.... we can but dream....

Can see this being a touchy subject with a few people who have D-4D's but i'm impressed by that. Must have been driving really carefully to obtain that MPG!

Let's see who can get the closest to that MPG in a D-4D, photo's required of course of the good ole trip computer :)

Why touchy - the D-4D Yaris is capable of this (after a few thousance miles run in naturally.... )

I reckon we could have a little Yaris D-4D competition.... proof provided of course, and see who can get closest to, or beat John Gough....

I agree

John travelled 881.8 miles

John maintained an average speed of 35-40mph

must of taken him 22 hours

Cant remember if our D-4D actually shows average mpg on the readout, I know my mother's petrol 1.3 does but I'm sure I had a conversation with a Mr T outlet about this.

... our is probably bost and he didn't want to honour the warranty claim!

No b1ackb1rd, we don't get mpg readouts on the Mk1 d-4ds. Obviously the trip computers can't deal with the high numbers involved :D
