hopefully this is more help:

all i can say is, run the lead down the back of the rear seats (back of the boot), run it down either side of the car under the carpet, up behind the glove box, then connect to the stereo by taking that out, a guide on how to remove the stereo is in the yaris how to section in the yaris forum!

Yeah im pretty sure all yaris' have Speakers in door and dash? If not just use the second set of speaker outputs at the back of the stereo (like said use the guides in the how to section of this forum to find out how) If do have in door and dash can splice the cables (basically strip the plastic away and join the 6*9s) like in a daisy chain. Another option is to get a wiring loom from toyota that puts both door and dash Speakers just into the front 2 outputs from stereo allowing you to use the rear ones for 6*9s.

The wiring track from rear shelf to stereo is just as jay says!

Any more help just ask and one of us will be able to answer!

Ive just bought a new headunit and all the other various autoleads crap i needed and fascia surround for my yaris. Ive also bought 6x9s.....do the dash and door Speakers both run from the same cables from the headunit and split later on......or do they have separate cables ,2 for dash speaker and 2 for door ,straight from the headunit? (8 cables all together for standard speakers)....if the Speakers have there own separate cables from the headunit ....is it better to splice and attach the 6x9's to the dash or door Speakers? and would it make a difference? lol sorry if that doesnt make sense

Not only tidier but means 6*9s get more power if you bung both fronts from front output of stereo! This is more sensible also as the standard Speakers arent rated at too high a power so if you run two Speakers off each front output on your stereo you run less risk of blowing them :)

Do you have a aftermarket HU?

based on 4 channel aftermarkerk HU

on mine I had the left door & dash speaker on one channel, other side on the other channel.

and then 1 channel running 2 6x9's and the last channel running the other 2 6x9's.

at the moment i'm only running 2 6x9's so it's the same for the door & dash Speakers but 1 channel runs the one 6x9 and the other channel runs the other 6x9 giving each 6x9 a bit more power.
