Drive Itself Vw

Anyone see that VW on the News that can drive itself up to speeds of 80mph? Scared the presenter of the item out of his skin!

Okay, it's still a long way off before this sort of thing appears on the road but as it apparently can get better times around a set course than most drivers, it got me thinking...

Can you imagine Top Gear getting hold of it and then pitching its (very) automatic time against the Stig? :)

at BMW over in Germany when the BMW mechanics from our work went, they saw them testing out new BMW's that can reverse park etc themself in spaces!!!! You just press a button and it manoovers itself into the space :D... Plus they were testing all this other stuff out... cant wait to see what cars can do in 10 - 20 years time :)

plus, if the thing that guides the car is like some sat navs, you might end up in a river :D. Or Worse, you might tell it to take you to London, Fall asleep and wake up in Iraq :P ;) (No offense to anyone from iraq) :)
