Jae Weekend....

Well, where do I start?

Firstly, it was my first year at JAE (that I spent the weekend), and it rocked (to coin a phrase from Earpl :D!)!!!

Firstly, huge thanks to Kev for the organisation of the stand, and to Les, for being the BBQ King yet again.

Big respect to those who travelled the distance.

It was nice to put some faces to names finally, and see the twisted individuals face to face... :D

Great fun weekend, and also humungous respect and well done to the JAE 2 times champion tug 'o' war team!!!

That OWNED the competition!!!!!

Dudes, you all rock, and I can't wait till the next one - although next time, we definately need more heavy metal, as I had to keep disappearing to the car to get my regular dose of it.... :D

Oh, and that storm was madness!!!!!

Counted 7 police cars, 3 ambulances and a fire engine.

Tents flying everywhere, and crazy folk running round trying to peg their tents down.

Then there were those who just liked to walk around in the rain, like the guy in nothing but a thong, who "klinsmann'd" across the grass in front of the Supra Owners Club stand.... :D

JAE was brilliant - bring it on next year!

MR2OC - OWNED!:lol::lol: What a bunch of pansies - us girlies could have done better than them - and not cheated too! Up the TOC TOW Champions - two years running!! :D

Had a marvellous (new catchphrase!) time, the weekend was great, the storm was great in its own weird way, it brought us all together (in the hospitality suite! )

Big thanks to Ken for making the weekend run so smoothly organisational-wise and to Les for the stunning BBQ on Saturday night - I could only manage one beefburger - Les' meat was far too much for my mouth!

Smut aside, I had a great time and one I wont forget for a while - I wont do personal thank yous because I dont want to miss anyone out but you make it what it is.... and TOC made it good! Oh and must also say a big thank you to Matt from MX5-Nutz who (along with Ryan) cleaned, waxed, clayed and polished Kaori for the weekend - so if he's reading this - cheers me dears!

Anyhoo, I'm off for a bit of a kip now, but this year rocked most bodaciously - who says that JAE is dead? ;)

Ahhh....

Where to start, well JAE was JAE, silly behaviour and friendship. MJSHERRY (God I hope thats right!) was an absolute star, I didn't put guidelines down on my tent and only discovered they were all knotted and needed cutting and re-threading once the heavens had well and truely opened to save the tent, while everyone else was in the dry and covering MJ stopped out and got drenched to the bone helping save my tent, thank you !!!

TUg-Of War Team - Top Job, MR2OC had people changing so fresh arms, someone who thought he would train them and had been practicing in the afternoon, the determination and sweat of the Tuggers of TOC was astounding although after winning the final they didnt look iof they could pull anything off as they had used every ounce of energy to win.

Pimps 'N 'Hoes --- some very interesting photos which will speak for themselves

Sambuca - No real Saturday night sambuca although one fatalitly was had (sorry Neil)...

BBQ - All's been said, Les your a legend

CAN WE HAVE A JAE 2006 GALLERY AND PEOPLE UPLOADING PHOTOS TO IT PLEASE!!!

JAE ITSELF, well thanks Ken and anyone else who helped with the organisation and the boys from Mr T

Not so long home and unpacked (well dumped in garage), had a McDs and now trying to stay awake as I type.

Had a fab time as per usual - good to meet a few new faces and reaquaint with some old ones.

Lee (Knightrider) - sorry we didnt get a chance to catch up properly.

Alan Bradley - cheers for the beers mate, despite a sterling effort last night I still a few left. Let me know how you get on with your NOS enquiries!

Woody - good to meet you, even if you did look a little uncomfortable last night!

Earpl, Graham, CFC Clan, Michael, and for that matter everyone else - serious thanks for making my mate Bernie and his son Dan feel so welcome. Bernie is now looking into a MkIV Supra and Dan has decided on a 1l Yaris as his first car!

Ken - great organisational skills - but I still think we need some t-shirts for the TofW. (We won BTW incase anyone didnt realise!)

Now the storm - Kate, Bernie, Dan and myself were at the drift arena when it all kicked off. Therefore by the time we got back the damage would have been done - that is if you lovely lot hadnt got yourself soaking holding our tent down. I owe all of you beers - I did my best to get round you all to say thanks, but if Ive missed anyone - THANKYOU!

Right - better try and nail some of those beers that are left!

Glad to hear it, didn't quite have the time to drop down 2 gears and even try and have a giggle (downside of a six speed box and a couple of tonnes of weight!)

It was a giggle, she's not the quickest thing out there but does surprise a few people once she has some speed behind her....

Hey all!!

Well I made it to my parent's place and have been kipping in the hammock in the sun, but thought I would pop on here and say hi etc..

What can I say that hasnt been said...lol not a lot!

Fab to Ken and Les for Organising and BBQ respectively :) wicked and that curry on friday was tops as ever!

Soooo glad my tent didnt fly away in the storm, but I didnt get a bit wet closing some tents up and frantically trying to peg in my guy ropes lol :P

Great to see everyone again... and I also cannot to personal notes but I think I have had loads of exercise dipping between the MR2OC and TOC all weekend

Oh btw... they said that they swapped a guy in on the tug o war cause he had done his back in, and they said that they used their reserves...

Were you allowed reserves? I dunno... ahh well.. TOC won anyway!! :P so doesnt look that helped them much...

I thought the Pimps n Hos was fab! thank you all for doing it, as I had a wicked time lol and Mo, amazing lol :P

I dont have any photos myself... but Im sure some will surface from the MR2OC and I'll grab em and put them over here (storm / pimps n hos etc)

Thanks to everyone, loved it, was fantastic storm and all! Much better than last year :) Glo sticks seemed to go down well... tho no war paint this year :P

TTFN off to look at vids and n stuff :)

once again thanks to ken for organising everything. the hospitality suite what was a god send for the storm. and a HUGE thank you to les for the fantastic BBQ i dont think ive ever seen sooooooooo much food.

anyway over and out im goin to get at least 24 hours of sleep now.
