Window Won't Close Fully

I'm having problems with the window on the driver's side.

By the time the window get's half way, the rubber that protecting the edge of the door get's all squashed into one huge mess, thereby blocking the full closure of the window.

I've tried to take part the door, but with no luck - I'm not exactly a professional :(

How much would it cost to take it down to an average garage for them to do this ?

Thanks.

Don't know mate, ut you could follow one of the "How To"s on fitting door Speakers. It tells you all about how to dis-assemble the door card and might help you out a bit.

"How To"s are stickied at the top of the Yaris sub-forum

You need to replace the glass run seal. it is a quick job about 15mins. Try ringing your dealers.

Thanks guys, but isn't going to the dealers going to be a bit expensive ?

Will the 'normal' garages have the same glass run seal, possibly at a cheaper price (and at the same quality) ?

Best way to double check around your area is ring up a few different places and see if they can do it and what the prices are..I dont see any reason as to why normal garages couldnt do it but I don't know this for definate sorry. Ask your dealer too as they do vary from place to place with their prices and you might (and stress I do use the word might) be pleasantly surprised ;)
